I have some amazing news, Champagne & Charlotte Bridal is a finalist for third year running in the South West Wedding Awards! Woohoo!
The first year we entered in the new business category. For the last 2 years, we have been finalists as ‘Best Wedding Outfitter’. This means that the category doesn’t just include other bridal boutiques. It also includes menswear, mother of the bride, anything to do with the dressing the bridal party. I am so over the moon to be recognised again. We are just approaching our third birthday (I know, where has that time gone?!) and to be voted as one of the best wedding outfitters in the whole of the South West is incredible. Wedding businesses from Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucester, Somerset & Wiltshire can enter and the finalists are entirely down to the votes from brides and grooms who have used our services.
I am so grateful to every single one of my beautiful Champagne & Charlotte brides who took time out of their day to vote for me. It means the absolute world that you all had such a wonderful experience. Making your dreams come true and giving you those special moments with friends and family during your wedding planning process is what we’re all about.
My main focus has and always will be the bride and making sure you are 100% happy. I understand that this dress is one of the most important items of clothing you’ll ever wear but that this still isn’t the only thing dress shopping is about. It’s also about your experience, making sure that you feel special, beautiful and supported every step of the way and that your chosen guests feel that way too. The bride will always be at the forefront of my mind but when I get feedback about how happy the experience has also made your mum/nan/sister, I nearly explode with pride.
So thank you so much to you all for your votes and comments – now it’s all down to the judges! The judges can’t see the scores from the couples but can see the comments that have been left, each business’s website/social media and mission statements. Wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed. I’ll let you know how we get on after the awards ceremony in January!
