Time for another real bride post and this one is pretty special!!
Emily and Ray planned a rustic, fun and relaxed wedding day at the beautiful venue, Westcott Barton in Devon. When Emily first came to me dress shopping, we heard rustic and were all thinking lace. After an appointment full of laughter, Emily found a stunning lace dress and went away to have a think, booking in a second appointment to come back and try it on again. This second appointment happened to coincide with our 2017 Stephanie Allin trunk show. We had a huge collection of dresses in the boutique from Stephanie’s new 2018 collection, La Vie En Rose, for one weekend only. Shortly after arriving, Emily soon set her sights on a sophisticated, simple, crepe dress with the most intricate beading and sensational back detail. The lace dress was quickly forgotten!
Unfortunately, Emily’s lovely mum was on holiday during the appointment and it was just Emily and her future sister in law, Rebekah, (also a future Champagne & Charlotte Bride!!) here with me. After trying it on a few times and walking around the boutique, Rebekah and I knew it was the one for Emily. She looked so incredible but also comfortable and ridiculously happy and Emily finally said YES to the most beautiful Stephanie Allin wedding dress.
We accessorised the dress with a simple, full length, soft vintage tulle veil so as not to detract from the incredible back detail and Emily found her gorgeous accessories with Hey Jules. The photos were taken by the very talented Holly Collings Photography.
