Champagne and Charlotte Bridal is a beautiful, award-winning bridal boutique in Bideford, North Devon. As exclusive stockists of many highly sought after designers, brides travel from all over the South West for our modern, fashion forward wedding dress styles and special, personal experience. With easy access from many close by areas such as Bude, Braunton, Barnstaple, Exeter and Plymouth.

The Dresses

All of our wedding dresses feel fresh and modern but it is also so important to us that they are incredibly flattering and easy to wear. Our dresses are designed to make you feel amazing whilst you eat, drink and dance until the sun comes up!

We are exclusive Devon and Cornwall stockists of the incredible mainline Enzoani collection and have a huge selection of dresses from all 3 of their collections: Enzoani, Blue by Enzoani and Enzoani Love. We are also the only place in Devon and Cornwall to find the stunning wedding dresses from London designer, House of Savin. We also stock for Eva Lendel, Élysée, Etoile, Allure Romance and Modeca.

Prices range from £1500-£5000+, with the majority sitting around £1500-£2500. If you love our style but have a strict budget, we always have a wonderful selection of discounted ex-samples available to purchase.

Visiting Champagne & Charlotte Bridal is like stepping into another world. Our beautiful, luxurious and contemporary boutique was designed with all of our wonderful brides in mind. It’s elegant and classy whilst still being fun and fabulous – just like our brides!

 

The Experience

We only offer one type of main Bridal Appointment as we believe all of our beautiful brides deserve the same premium experience. You will receive 2 hours with exclusive use of our downstairs showroom and all of our incredible dresses! A glass of bubbly, chocolates amd our undivided attention to help you find the dress of your dreams (and to have the best time whilst doing it!)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We thoroughly recommend having an idea of your wedding date and venue before shopping for your wedding dress as these can have a huge influence on the dress you choose. You should then aim to order your dress around 12-18 months before your big day. The more time you give yourself, the less stress you’ll have in the lead up to the wedding.

Our wedding dresses range from £1400-£3500 with the majority sitting around £1700-£2500.

No, I’m sorry but we work on an appointment only basis.

This just means that all of our brides receive our undivided attention throughout their appointment and always have their pick of our full selection of beautiful wedding dresses! 

We offer evening appointments by request. We are very flexible and will do whatever we can to accommodate you! If you would like to book an appointment, please just get in touch.

During the appointment, we are able to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests, including the bride. We completely understand that this is an experience you want to share with lots of people but too many opinions can make the whole experience really overwhelming for you.

Wedding dress shopping isn’t much fun for children. Please consider your appointment as an exclusive, gown-up treat! It can make it really difficult for the bride to relax and enjoy the appointment if she’s constantly worrying what the little ones are up to.

We want everyone to leave the boutique with amazing memories of their experience. With a few very important people accompanying you, your appointment will be so much more enjoyable and you will be confident that you have chosen a wedding dress that YOU love!

We understand how important this decision is and how overwhelming it can be. No bride should feel pressured or rushed into making a decision, which is why we allow a full 2 hours for your appointment. We want you to feel relaxed and have fun, taking your time to find your dream wedding dress.

Once at the boutique, you will be provided with drinks and sweet treats whilst we discuss your wedding and hear all about your dream wedding dress! Please feel free to bring any pictures or inspiration you have that will guide us in finding your perfect dress.

Then the real fun begins as we pick some dresses together for you to try on!

Most brides find their perfect wedding dress with us at the first appointment and the celebrations begin!! Sometimes, you may need to go away and have a think before coming back another day to try your dress and be 100% sure you love it, and that’s ok too! Once you have found ‘the one’, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% balance is then due when your dress arrives in the boutique with us (usually about 4 months before your wedding date.)

We are fully aware that taking your clothes off with a complete stranger 15 minutes after meeting them can feel slightly daunting so please wear whatever underwear you feel most comfortable in! Nude/seamless underwear will be the least visible and help you to get the best idea of how the dresses will look on your big day.

If you are planning to wear your hair up or pinned back, bringing along a hair clip or tie will allow you to see how the dress will look with the hairstyle you have in mind.

Although we have lots of gorgeous shoes in the boutique that you can try on with the dresses, if you have already picked out your wedding shoes or have a specific heel height in mind, please feel free to bring a pair along with you.

Please refrain from wearing heavy make up or fake tan to your dress appointments that could come off onto our beautiful dresses.

Please also note that photography is not recommended in the boutique. Any photos taken will not be a true reflection of how lovely you will look on the day. They usually lead to a panicking bride when the photos do not do the dress justice or their friend/family member has caught them at a bad angle!

Our sample wedding dresses range from size 8 to size 26.

Please do not worry at all about finding samples to fit; we have lots of clever tricks to give you a great idea of how the dress would look on your big day and we often get compliments about how good we are at doing this!

We handpick only a few of the dresses from each collection so if there is a particular dress you have seen from one of our designers, please let us know! If we do not have that specific dress in the boutique, we can loan a dress from the designer at a small delivery charge, which will be refundable if you decide to buy the dress.

We also have trunk shows throughout the year. This is where we have a full seasons collection from a particular designer in the boutique for one weekend only!

It is our mission to make your wedding dress process as stress-free as possible. This is why we have a talented independent seamstress on hand that can be used for these alterations and these fittings take place in the boutique.

The fitting process begins roughly 6-10 weeks before the date of your wedding. This will ensure enough time for the seamstress to make any necessary alterations to your dress so that it fits perfectly on your big day.

Please note, the cost of alterations are not included in the price of the dress.
